TYPES OF PLANTS






Neem Tree

 TREES

Trees are the biggest of all the plants. They have very long stems called Trunks. Some trees grow tall and straight like peepal, pine, coconut, neem and date palm.













Tulsi Shrub

 
SHRUBS

Shrubs are also known as bushes because they grow near the ground. They are plants with thick, woody stems. Examples are rose-bush, hibiscus, tulsi and jasmine.








Mint-Herb

 HERBS

Herbs are short plants. They have thin, green and weak stems. They live for a very short time. Examples are grass, mint and rice plant.















Grapes-Climbers


CREEPERS AND CLIMBERS

These plants have thin, long and weak stems. They cannot stand by themselves and need support to grow along a wall (climbers) or on the ground (creepers)

Examples of climbers are peas, grapes, cucumber and money plant.

Examples of creepers are watermelon and pumpkin.
