Neem Tree



 TREES

Trees are the biggest of all the plants. They have very long stems called Trunks. Some trees grow tall and straight like peepal, pine, coconut, neem and date palm.









Tulsi Shrub



 

SHRUBS

Shrubs are also known as bushes because they grow near the ground. They are plants with thick, woody stems. Examples are rose-bush, hibiscus, tulsi and jasmine.







Mint-Herb



 HERBS

Herbs are short plants. They have thin, green and weak stems. They live for a very short time. Examples are grass, mint and rice plant.







Grapes-Climbers





CREEPERS AND CLIMBERS



These plants have thin, long and weak stems. They cannot stand by themselves and need support to grow along a wall (climbers) or on the ground (creepers)

Examples of climbers are peas, grapes, cucumber and money plant.

Examples of creepers are watermelon and pumpkin.

PARTS OF A PLANT AND THEIR FUNCTIONS

1. ROOTS

The part of the plant that remains under the ground is called the root. They also help to stop the soil erosion. They held the soil together. So, they stop the soil from getting washed away by water or blown away by the wind.They bring water to the upper parts of the plants. Roots take in minerals ans water from the soil and pass them to the centre of the root. They are then carried to all parts of the plant. Roots also give the plant support and keep it in position.



2. STEMS



Parts of a plant

The stem supports the plant above the ground.





3. LEAVES



The leaves are the food factories for the plant. They use carbondioxide, sunlight and water to make their food.





4. BUD

The bud grows into the flower.



5. FLOWER

Flowers are of many shapes, sizes and colours. Many flowers give fragrance too. They have bright colourful petals so that insects get attracted to them.The main function of a flower is to make  s eed. These seeds later become fruits.

6. FRUIT

A fruit grows from a flower.

7. SEEDS

The seeds when planted give another plant of the same type. All plants need seeds to grow. The seeds have a tiny baby plant inside them, which is protected by the seeds.

मानव, पशु-पक्षी, पौधे या दूब।

सूर्य मंच पर घूमता है, तभी उसे एक कोने में sahmao nanhoM बीज दिखाई doto है।

सूर्य - अरे। नन्हे baIjaaoM तुम वहाँ अंधेरी, नम तहों में क्या कर रहे हो? बाहर आओ, इस हरी भरी धरती पर उभरो, एक पौधे का आकार लेकर।
nanho बीज - ( सहम कर) ना ना ! हम यहीं ठीक हूँ। बाहर न जाने कैसी दुनिया है!
सूर्य - आओ तो। मेरे दोस्त! कितनी चमकीली है यह सुबह।
nanho बीज - hmaoM कोई नुकसान तो न होगा ना?सूर्य - नहीं daostaoM नहीं!
nanho बीज - ( निकलने के प्रयास में) उफ! कितनी कडी है जमीन। नहीं हम यहीं ठीक है।
सूर्य - अच्छा रुको। हम अपनी नटखट सहेली वर्षा को लेकर Aato है।

सूर्य जाता है, वर्षा आती है, गुनगुनाकर
वर्षा - songआज फिर बरस बरस कर
प्यासी धरती को कर दूंगी नम
आएगा फिर नए पौधों का मौसम

नन्हें बीज तुम laaoga कहाँ हो?

nanho बीज - ( धीमी आवाज में) हम यहाँ है ।
वर्षा - तो आओ न बाहर देखो धरती भीग कर नम हो गई है। और दूसरे बीजaoM में भी अंकुर आ गय है ।
nanho बीज - (बाहर आकर, अंगडाई लेकर) अरे, कितनी हरी भरी दुनिया है, कितनी प्यारी हवा है। क्या hma भी एक baDo paOQao बन paeMgaoM।
वर्षा - हाँ! हाँ! क्यों नहीं?

वर्षा चली जाती है। सूर्य आता है।

सूर्य - स्वागत daostaoM।
nanho बीज - धन्यवाद सूर्य।

nanho बीज एक पौधे की वेशभूषा में मुस्कुरात है। आस पास कई बच्चे पौधे के वेश में हैं। उन सबके मुंह लटके हैं। tBaI kuC icaiDyaa GabarayaI hu[- AatI hOM.

चिडिया - प्रदूषण राक्षस, पास वाले हरे भरे पौधों से भरे जंगल को खा गया है। अब हमारी बारी है, क्योंकि शहर की सडक़ अब इस जंगल तक आ गई है।
nanho पौधे - सूर्य AaOr  वर्षा ने तो कहा था ये दुनिया बहुत अच्छी है

घबरा कर nanho पौधे वर्षा और सूर्य को आवाज देता है। दोनों आते हैं।

nanho पौधे - हमें उस प्रदूषण राक्षस से बचाओ।
अन्य पौधे - हाँ! हाँ! बचाओ। तुम्हीं तो हमें इस धरती पर लाए हो।

तभी प्रदूषण राक्षस आता है।

प्रदूषण राक्षस - हा हा हा। यह क्या बचाएग!

सूरज मुहँ छिपा लेता है। वर्षा भाग जाती है।

तभी एक बडा पेड ज़ो चुपचाप खडा होता है अपनी टहनियों से पौधों को ढक लेता है। प्रदूषण धुआं उगल कर चला जाता है।

बडा पेड -  tuma GabaraAao mat maoro nanhoM daostaoM. hma saaro baDo poD paOQao imalakr tumharI madd kroMgaoM.

p`dUYaNa raxasa – huM^   tuma @yaa kr laaogao jaba saUrja AarO vaYaa- hI Baaga gayao.

बडा पेड -  hma ApnaI baD,I AaOr majabaUt ThinayaaoM sao [na sabakao Z,k laoMgaoo AaOr yah प्रदूषण raxasa }pr sao inakla jaaegaa. nanhoM baccao [sa trh baca jaaeM^gao.

बडा पेड - नन्हें बच्चों। इस प्रदूषण से अगर पृथ्वी को कोई बचा सकता है तो वह हम ही हैं। वादा करो, जैसे मैंने तुम्हें बचाया, तुम बडे होकर आने वाले पौधों को बचाओगे। हम सब मिल कर ही इस धरती को बचा पाएंगे।

सारे पौधे एक सार्थ हाँ पेड दादा, हम वादा करते हैं।

तभी kuC baccao बाहर Aato है और khto है।
baccaa 1 - पेड दादा और पौधों आप कितने अच्छे हैं। काश ये बात बच्चे AaOr baDo समझ पाते और jaMgala को नुकसान न पहुँचाते।

The Little Plant

In the heart of a seed,

A tiny plant

Little Brown Seeds
